Why Ingredients Matter

A friend had a Facebook posting a few weeks ago that has stuck with me; if you can't identify an ingredient, neither can your body.

If you read the list of ingredients on packages the way we do, you quickly discover the witches brew of chemicals that go into many products.  Even on some food products, the list of chemicals outnumbers "real" ingredients considerably.  Of course these ingredients are all good - good for the manufacturer, good for the shipper, good for the store.  They help extend the shelf life of the product, or make the product cheaper to make.  But are they good for you?

Our soaps, lotions, bath and beauty products are made with real ingredients.  Vegetable oils, beeswax, vegetable and mineral colorings, fragrance and essential oils.  If you've come into our booth at any of the shows we attend, you've almost certainly heard us say that we like to use things we can pronounce.  We do that because we want to make the best products we can, the best products you can find.  We want to offer something you can trust, made from ingredients you can identify.  Why should you have anything less?
