The Murphysboro Apple Festival is a show we've done for a long time, almost as long as we've been making soap. And while we've had other shows come and go, this is one we keep coming back to. Why? Well, Ruth works in Murphysboro, and she's always telling people "Come see us at Apple Festival!" So lots of people know that they can find us there, and they come looking for us.
This year, it's the first show in our fall schedule, and a great kick-off to the craft fair season. There are lots of interesting vendors, many of whom we see only at this show. It's a great people watching event, as it brings in folks from all over Southern Illinois. It has the largest parade in the region, the Appletime Grand Parade. And, of course, who else has Captain Applesauce?,
