Vulture Fest in Makanda, Illinois - 2014

It's that time of year again, the time when we are gearing up for one of our favorite shows of the year.  There is absolutely nothing like Vulture Fest in Makanda, and this year promises to be one of the best ever.  The weather forecast is near perfect, and we have lots of stuff waiting for you.

Have you tried our Guy Soap?  It's made with beer and scented with bay rum.  It smells like an old-time barber shop.  As Ruth likes to point out, men wore bay rum because women like the scent, and we find that as many women buy Guy Soap as men do.  We've lots of other scents, too, so stop by and see which one is right for you.

Plenty of new wooden products from John, as well.  Have you seen our line of bottle stoppers?  Hand turned on a lathe, the perfect way to seal the remains of that bottle of wine.

Or how about a lathe-turned bottle opener?  As always, made from native Southern Illinois hardwood, fits comfortably in your hand and makes opening a bottle of your favorite beverage a breeze.

Lots of other things better seen than described.  Come by our tent this weekend and say hello.  We'll be looking for you.
