Southern Illinois Irish Festival - 2014

The Southern Illinois Irish Festival is this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21.  This year, the festival has moved to Walker's Bluff.  It will be interesting to see how this new venue affects the show.  As usual, it appears there will be lots of good Celtic (and Celtic inspired) music on two different stages.

Ruth has been ramping up production of all her products, but especially soap, which has been selling quite well lately.  We sold out of Guy Soap (made with beer and scented with bay rum), White Tea and Ginger, Irish Clean (much better than, well, that other stuff), and a few more.  So until the show, Ruth is putting all her spare time into mixing, making, and packaging all those wonderful products that you've come to love and expect.

John is also busy on the lathe, turning lots of new bottle stoppers and bottle openers.  He hopes to have a number of new wine racks made, and maybe even a few more cutting boards.

We are very excited about this show, and hope to see you there.
