Murphysboro Blues Festival

We have a double-header this week.  Yes, every once in while we do two shows on the same weekend, and one of those weekends is coming up.  While Ruth is at the Southern Illinois Irish Festival, John will be heading over to Riverside Park in Murphysboro for the 2014 edition of the Murphysboro Blues Festival. 

This event, sponsored by the Murphysboro Chamber of Commerce, has added vendors to their lineup this year.  We're always happy to try out a new event, so look for us there this Saturday, Sept. 20.  The performances are in the band shell, not sure where the vendors are setting up.  The music starts at noon and runs all night, though, so you'll have plenty of time to wander around and find us.  It looks to be a beautiful autumn day to come out and sit in the park.  Good food, good music, and us!

Even though we are in two different places on Saturday, we'll still have a full selection at both venues.  Ruth will have plenty of John's wine racks and accessories with her at Walker's Bluff, and John will have a full range of Ruth's soaps, lotions, and bath and beauty products at the park.  So come to either event (or both), and stop by and say hello.  We're looking forward to seeing you.
